Often it is useful to include DNA from either parent or additional siblings to increase the accuracy of the test.

BROTHERS Y TEST - $295 - All men have one Y chromosome which they pass to all their sons. - By testing the Y chromsome in two or more brothers we can see if they have the same father. - This DNA test is 99.9% accurate. - Note: This test can be used to test a variety of male relations (ie. uncle-nephew, grandfather-grandson, etc.) - You may order the kit (paperwork, swabs and instructions), buy the test now, or else you can download instructions to take a brothers Y test right now. The additional person cost is $79 or

SISTERS X TEST - $375 - All men have one X chromosome which they pass to all their daughters. By testing the X chromosome in two sisters we can see if they have the same father. - This DNA test is 99.5% accurate. - Note: This test is best for sisters with different mothers, or, if they have the same mother, then include the Mother's sample. The additional person cost is $79 - Order the kit (paperwork, swabs and instructions), or buy the test now. or   MITOCHONDRIAL TEST - $295 - Mitochondrial DNA is only herited from the Mother, so it is the ideal test to see if siblings have the same biological mother. The accuracy of the test depends very much on the type of mitochondrial DNA you have. If two matching persons have a rare type of Mitochondrial DNA then they are more likely to be siblings, than two persons who match with a common type of mitochondrial DNA. The probabilty of you being related is calculated after we know what type of DNA you have. or   SIBLING FULL TEST - $395 - If you need to test a brother and sister for the same father, then you will need to do a full sibling DNA test. This test is only around 80% accurate, and looks at the amount of DNA sharing between siblings.
